I was born in Valencia in 1963. I graduated in biology from the University of Barcelona and for five years worked in Catalonia as a high school teacher. From a very young age, existential questions about happiness and the meaning of life overwhelmed me.
At the age of 13, I had the opportunity to read Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, which introduced me with great admiration to Buddhist philosophy. From that moment on, I was clear that I wanted to travel and get to know India.
Also at this early age, my love for the mountains and pure nature in general became clear. Hiking, climbing, and spelunking in the Pyrenees began to be my favorite activities, which I devoted all my free time to along with reading and music.
At the age of 29, after a profound personal crisis, I decided to leave my job in Barcelona, my boyfriend, my house, my friends, and embarked on a one-way trip to India. This was the turning point. I never again returned to the way of life that had determined my life until that moment.
In India, my first destination was Pune, where Osho's Ashram is located. At that time, I was unaware of Osho and his meditations. A friend from Barcelona, a disciple of this master, recommended starting my journey through India here, where he said I could meet some Spanish people since at that time I didn't speak a word of English. And it is here and when my life changes definitively.
I spent ten days practicing all the meditations offered in the Buda Hall from 6 in the morning to 7 in the afternoon. After those ten days, it was clear to me that my path was meditation. Exploring Silence.
Experiencing myself with a silent mind revealed to me the key to happiness. I had to know more about that new reality. My scientific mind quickly opened to the evidence. Osho's words and my own experience of Silence appeared to me as obvious and evident. Doubt dissolved.
And from the ashram to the Himalayas. Full package. My path was marked. From this moment on, I knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to "Awakening," to the "Liberation of Suffering," and I knew that the path to follow was meditation and nature, the Himalayas.
The next ten years I lived for long periods in India. I had the great privilege of participating in the direct teachings of great masters, one of them was Papaji from Lucknow, Neeru, Dolano, Adiashanti. And indirectly, Gangaji, Byron Katie, and Ramana Maharshi.
Within this dynamic and naturally, I began to share with individual sessions and silent retreats. And in 2009 while traveling through the Indian Himalayas towards Ladakh, I asked the mountains for guidance, and I was inspired by the idea of the Himalaya Meditation Tour.
That same summer, the first group guided by Ladakh with the format and philosophy that continues to this day manifested itself. The two great passions of my life came together in this project. Meditation and Himalayas. Silence and nature. Exploration of oneself and of the valleys and peaks of this impressive mountain range, mixed with the life example of a society that believes in the liberation of suffering, the liberation of the Mind, and the path of compassion.
The Ladakhi society is the only society still alive with Tibetan roots.
As of today, I continue to live a nomadic life for 30 years, moving between Europe and Asia, organizing here and there meetings of silence, meditation, and pure nature. Sharing myself as I live and inviting to experience this moment of life with a mind in Silence, Present, open to what Is. Free. And from here to ask yourself "Who Am I." Real.
